Does your garden need some new life?

Here at Bardon Trees, our goal is to plant more trees than we remove. You might be looking to replace trees with healthier options, add more shade, create more privacy from neighbours or just introduce more native species to your garden. Planting new trees can make your property more comfortable, beautiful, value and environmentally friendly at the same time.

Why Plant Natives?

More Ethical

Planting native trees instead of just any tree on Pinterest is more socially responsible for the tree, the wildlife and the environment because it’s part of the natural habitat.

Easier To Manage

Native plants are perfectly suited to the local environment, meaning they won't require much maintenance (if any) in terms of watering and aftercare.

Great For Wildlife

By planting natives, you create a source of food and shelter for native wildlife that helps support a biodiverse ecosystem. It also helps to populate much-needed bees!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • We use a couple of different nurseries based in Brisbane who provide high quality plants from ethical sources – that way we know what we are buying and the quality of plant that we are providing to our clients.

  • We do transplant trees, however transplanting is challenging especially for larger trees or some variety of trees that don’t like to be on the move. This means that we can’t guarantee that transplanted trees will thrive in their new location, but we do provide soil nutrition and regular care to do our best to make the tree grow in its in new location.

  • Natives! There are so many varieties of native trees that I guarantee there is one to suit your garden or property. There are different factors such as soil, light, location, how quick or slow you want it to grow and how big you want the tree to reach.

  • We generally charge based on a per tree fee. This will include sourcing the tree from a high-quality nursery that Rob will hand pick. Then we dig the hole by hand and prep it by adding quality soil and organic worm juice fertiliser. We use stakes to provide support to the young trees and finally we add aged forest mulch to cover the soil. We’ll also come by for a follow up to check how the seeds are growing.
