How to prepare your home.

At Bardon Trees, we make it our priority to do the job once and do it right. What you don’t want is a half-complete project that needs to be re-done in a few months! To make sure everything is ready to go, here is a checklist for you to follow before we arrive.

Access

If you could make sure that prior to our arrival, there is clear access to the trees. Whether it be unlocking side gates or moving your car out of the driveway. We generally arrive with a small truck and chipper and a ute which we need to park as close as possible to the tree works.

Collaboration

We like to collaborate with you - the property owner on the tree works so we can meet your expectations. That might mean a quick chat before you head off to work or a check in throughout the day if you are at home.

Dogs

If you have furry friends, please make sure they are kept securely and safely away from the tree works. If there is any dog poop in your garden, we ask that you clean it up before we start.

Bad Weather

Luckily in Brisbane we have mostly fine weather but if it is raining, bad winds or storms, we cannot continue safely with tree works. In that case, we will organise an alternative day.

Kids/Elderly/Vulnerable People

Tree works create a noisy, messy and unsafe environment. If you have any kids or vulnerable adults, please make sure that they are kept safe.

Water

In hot weather, our crew goes through litres or drinking water. We bring big bottles of water but we might ask for access to a tap during the day.

Toilets

Our tree crew do need to access a toilet during the day. If you are able to provide our crew access to a toiler and hand wash facilities that would be appreciated.

Covid-19 Safe

Our team follow all Covid-19 protocols to make sure we attend your property well, hygienic, and safe.

Invoicing and Payment

At the end of the day when you’ve given us your sign off on the tree works, we will invoice you by email. Payment is due immediately upon completion of works.
